	In 1995, Jim and Margaret Stephenson fulfilled a long-time goal when they acquired L'Atre Fleuri, a 200-year old village home in rural Normandy. Following a US Air Force career they decided to establish roots in France and set about fully restoring L'Atre Fleuri while enhancing it with modern up-to-date bathrooms, country-style kitchen (with AGA cooker) and family furnishings from America and Europe.
	Margaret has created a comfortable, quiet and high-standard B&B. Guests are welcomed into an environment of subdued comfort and first-class service. Tastefully decorated guest rooms accented with fresh flowers and quality amenities set the tone for a relaxing stay. The comfort of the salon with signature fireplace and the beautiful breakfasts in the main dining room are enhanced by the quiet of Balleroy with its famous chateau and superb Michelin-rated restaurant. All these combine to make the most memorable of holidays.
